The hotel offers 100 spacious guest studios and suites in a four-story white building (no elevators) with pastel gingerbread trim. What to expect: Located on a beach, the compact 2.5-acre resort features gardens, waterfalls, and blossoms. An open-air, marble-floor lobby graced by orchids and next to a two-story coral-stone atrium exemplifies a breezy, tropical ambience.
Amenity highlights: A 400-yard beach of pinkish coral sand lapped by the turquoise Caribbean Sea fronts the hotel. This section of the beach features thatched shades and umbrellas. A large lagoon pool meanders through gardens and past waterfalls. Between that pool and the beach lies a second, good-size pool containing a swim-up bar.
