Since the beaches are public property, guests can walk along the sand to the south, where there are no hotels, and experience the Mexican Caribbean as it was many years ago |

Reservations are required, and the restaurant is open daily for dinner only. The dining room is air-conditioned and features traditional Mexican decor. Long pants and shoes are required for men. Broccolino - The hotel’s Italian restaurant serves traditional cuisine such as pastas, salads, and antipasto. Reservations are required, and the restaurant is open daily for dinner only. The air-conditioned dining room features Italian artwork, checkered table cloths, and candles. Long pants and shoes are required for men. La Bambola - Located next to the show room, this casual sports bar has terrace seating, pool tables, and satellite TV. Besides light meals, the restaurant serves cocktails, imported drinks, and snacks. Open daily from mid-day until late evening. Ola La - Under a thatched-roof palapa, the Ola La poolside snack bar serves tropical drinks and light fare. Drink service is available around the pool area. Open daily for lunch. Dance on Disco - The hotel’s discotheque plays popular music and features a light and fog show, a small dance floor, and intimate seating. Casual attire is accepted. Open every night. |

The Playacar Beach Resort is an exceptional All-Inclusive beach
resort set along a wide stretch of glorious white sand caressed
by the turquoise blue of the Caribbean Sea. Spend long, peaceful
days steeped within the refreshing waters of one of four
gorgeous swimming pools, including a separate pool area
set-aside exclusively for adults. Enjoy an exciting variety of
on-site watersports at no extra charge, or try your hand at a
game of tennis on one of four floodlit courts. The resort
has several restaurants, a live evening floor show, and a disco.
Recreational amenities include swimming pools, tennis courts,
and an activity center that loans bicycles and keeps guests busy
with water polo, snorkeling, beach volleyball, aerobics, and a
variety of water sports. A children's club provides activities
for guest ages 2 to 18, and the resort has a video game room.

The Playacar Beach Resort has an open-air auditorium for nightly shows and
a disco where guests dance to pop music. During the day, guests
enjoy the swimming pools, tennis courts, game room, and water
sports center, with kayaks, wind surfers, and snorkeling
equipment.
The hotel also has a fitness center, gift shop, boutique, and children's activity club. Guests may borrow bicycles to explore the local area. As with all major hotels in the area, the Playacar Beach Resort has a water-purification system. |
