Calling All Cruisers....

Unbelievable Cruise Special!

Even if you've never cruised, this is an extraordinary "HOT DEAL"! Step aboard the all-new Freedom of the Seas and you've stepped aboard the "World's Biggest Cruise Ship." Imagine yourself ice skating in the Caribbean. Unusual, right? Now imagine yourself ice skating on a cruise ship in the Caribbean. Unreal – yet it’s happening every day onboard the big Royal Caribbean ships! There’s no need to pack your ice skates – the Freedom has them available for free at Studio B, their fabulous ice skating rink! The venue also puts on a sensational ice show (no extra charge, either!) during your cruise.

But though the biggest cruise ship ever, Freedom of the Seas represents an evolutionary - not revolutionary - change in shipbuilding. That "revolution" was brought on a few years ago by her slightly smaller "Voyager-class" sisters - the ships that brought aboard ice-skating rinks, rock-climbing walls, "Main Street" shopping promenades and inline skating tracks!

$859.00 ~ 7 Night Cruise
Royal Caribbean - Freedom Of The Seas
Roundtrip Airfare
Royal Caribbean

Departs from Port Canaveral, and sails to the ports of  Labadee, Haiti;
Ocho Rios, Jamaica; George Town, Grand Cayman; Cozumel, Mexico;
and back to Port Canaveral, Florida

Freedom of the Seas kept all those wildly successful, headline-grabbing, revolutionary features, of course. Then she added some subtle updates, most of which focus on passenger comfort and convenience.  (Extensive Wi-Fi capabilities and connectivity for cell phone use; Larger staterooms and balconies. They're among the largest in the industry!  Full-size, interactive, flat-screen TVs in every stateroom and all public bars & lounges, and more family-friendly accommodations than ever before - from 6 to 14 guests!)

For most cruisers, “fine dining” is one of their most treasured activities. Oh, you can nix the ice-skating rink or remove the rock-climbing wall, but don’t mess with those lavish meals and chandeliers! But in fact, today’s passengers want choice – an elegant dining room when they favor that ambiance; a casual buffet when they don’t. And maybe a trattoria or steakhouse would be nice, too!  Royal Caribbean dining, though focused on main dining room elegance, offers the choice of:
~Traditional, two-seating dining in a spacious, sophisticated, main dining room
~Specialty, upscale, reservations-only restaurants
~Always-casual buffet alternative available for breakfast, lunch and dinner

Step outdoors onto Deck 11 and you’ve got two outdoor pools and one sky-lit, all-weather “Solarium” pool. Each pool is complemented with several whirlpools and there are plenty lounge chairs throughout. Despite the ship’s size, there always seems to be out-of-the-way sanctuaries of serenity aboard.

Absolutely, the coolest new spot will be the H2O Zone, a fabulous interactive water park. Whimsical and playful -- and most definitely aimed at families -- features include numerous water-spouting contraptions, such as a waterfall, umbrella jets, a cone spill bucket, spray cannons, spray loops and pipefalls, all decorated as colorful sculptures. There are two splash pools as well, one of which will have a current that shoots water around a central island. At night, this area, with the integration of a fantastic and dynamic lighting system, will be transformed into a sculpture garden.

Another first-ever feature is a dedicated sports pool in the main pool area. Like Voyager-class vessels, there are two side-by-side pools that comprise that part of the deck, but in this case one will be used almost exclusively for athletic pool games, ranging from basketball and volleyball to (really) pole jousting and synchronized swimming. Other times, it will have designated lanes for lap swimming.

At night, you will be enticed back to the main pool area to the open-air nightclub. There's a large dance floor between the two pools and Freedom of the Seas will host themed parties and disco events.

The solarium pool is more than just a "stretched" version of those found on Voyager-class ships. While similar in look, and featuring an additional row of loungers, the big news here is the creation of two cantilevered whirlpools that are tucked into a bow-like window some 112 ft. above the water. They're pretty gigantic; each one holds 16. Just as nifty -- though not as techno-trendy -- is a series of free-standing hammocks scattered about the solarium.

The rock-climbing wall has expanded, going from the 30 x 33 ft. model on Voyager-class ships to one that's 43 x 44 ft., and this one will have additional spire for climbing. In all there are 11 routes to climb.

Beyond the pool areas, the only real details Royal Caribbean would share concerned some new ideas about staterooms. Staterooms on Freedom of the Seas will be larger, on average, than those found throughout the rest of the fleet and that all will be outfitted with flat-screen televisions.

Family travelers should be pretty excited to hear that Freedom of the Seas offers family-friendly cabins in a variety of categories, from insides (really!) to promenade view to ocean view. These will feature alcoves with bunk beds for kids and some will feature bathrooms with tubs, not just showers.

And in the over-the-top money's-no-object category, start saving your pennies for a stay in the presidential suite, the largest ever on a Royal Caribbean ship. Not only does it clock in at 1,215 square ft. (and that's just inside - the balcony measures an additional 810 square ft.), it has four bedrooms, four full baths. The verandah is a destination in its own right, complete with whirlpool, wet bar, alfresco dining and loungers for just about everyone.

Oh and if you do want to get off the ship, she docks, at Cozumel, Cayman Island, Jamaica, and Labadee ports of call. Our package includes 7 nights stateroom, roundtrip airfare, and transfers.($139 tax) 0614
